all the financial banks are down approx 100%. what's your point. technology stocks too, look at google, it was at $700+, apple was at $200+, Baidu was at $400+, look at where it is now. there is never a guarantee on whats a good buy what isnt. If it was that simple, i think there'll be a lot more millionaires in this world.

i think citigroup is gonna get lower, but of course im just guessing

i used to work for a small division for citigroup, and i heard they changed a really big thing in one of their programs which will definitely cause a lot of clients to complain and leave.

IF you're investing for long term, i would think it's a good buy. But if it's a short term, it's probably not a good idea because I'm sure the credit problems and subprime is still going to bring down a lot of those financial institutions.

When I brought Intel(INTC) it was $40 a share, that was back in 2000. It's now $20 ... --" I'm still hoping it up a little so I can sell it with little margin loss. So did you buy it?

My best short term investment was on SteelCloud(SCLD) like $.50 a share when i got in in 2002 and it got up to $4 in 2004 and i sold it. Got myself a good vacation moneys. =)
Simple.
