3G iPhone it is. They hecka slashed the price.
$199 for 8 GB -- black only
$299 for 16 GB -- black or white option
$up for more memory

I think I'll keep my old one and update the firmware.

i heard Fido would require 3yr contact ... and also to maximize the usefulness of 3g, ull need a data plan ... which is very expensive -_-!

anyone knows if 30$/month data plan is a must? ...
if i dun use 3g to surf net ... can i just pay regular voice plan?

if you do not plan to use 3g, just get a first generation iPhone.
